    Chapter 0525 provides access to a regional HR network and a variety of educational programs that focus Human Resource management, resources & benefits with emphasis on serving and advancing the profession.

    Continuing members of our regional chapter have an opportunity to interact with other Human Resource professionals, find out the latest in industry trends and broaden ones future horizons.

    Other Membership Information

    Membership is by individual, rather than by firm or position, and is non-transferable.

    ANNUAL DUES:

    1. Local Membership (non-SHRM members) - $25.00
    2. National SHRM members - $0.00
    3. should be received by January 31st of each year and are non-refundable. 

    MEMBERSHIP CLASSIFICATIONS:

    1. Professional
    2. Associate
    3. Life

    Professional Members:

    Individuals engaged in the profession of Human Resource Management (HRM) who either:

    a) possess at least three (3) years of experience in HRM at the exempt level; or

    b) are currently accredited by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI); or

    c) are faculty members holding assistant to full professorial rank in HRM or any of its specialized functions in an accredited college or university and who possess three (3) years of experience at this level of teaching or equivalent thereof; or

    d) are full-time consultants with at least three (3) years of experience in the field of Human Resource Management.

    Associate Members: Individuals in non-exempt human resource positions as well as those who do not meet any of the foregoing categories but who demonstrate a bona fide interest in Human Resources and the purpose of the Association. Associate members will have no vote and may not hold office in the Association.

    Life Members: Any Professional Member in good standing for at least five years at the time of retirement from any firm, organization or institution may be elected to Life Membership in the Association by a two-thirds vote of the Board of Directors.

    Life Members shall be entitled to all privileges of membership except the right to vote or hold elective office. There shall be no dues application to this class of membership.
